The colleagues of the Global Seed Production Research department are responsible for the global management of seed production. At our location in Beaufort en Vallée (France) we offer an interesting research internship.
Job content
During this internship, you will be based at Bejo Production France, working with the local Seed Production Research department. The local team conducts practical trials across various programs, focusing on entomology, pollination, pathology, agronomy, and new technologies. Your primary focus will be on our drone project, contributing to the development of a digital support platform for conducting field inspections on crops like beet, carrot, onion, and fennel. Throughout the season, you will frequently capture images of the crops and collaborate with various colleagues to carry out practical tests on our platform in development. The platform’s performances and benefits will be evaluated and compared to current practices. At the end of your internship, you will compile your findings, conclusions, and recommendations in a research report.
Job Requirements
- An agricultural education at HBO level minimum, such as Applied Biology
- The ability to work independently and proactively
- Interest in new technologies and the application of them within the agricultural work field
- Communication skills in English, French would be convenient
- Driving license B
