Job content

Insects play a crucial role in seed production as pollinators, pests, or as natural enemies of pests. In this research the primarily focus is on understanding the impact of insect pests on seed production. You will explore the interactions among plants, pests, and their natural enemies. Using insights from this investigation, along with your experience and a thorough literature review, you will develop strategies for integrated pest management. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects involving pollination, biological control, and innovative seed production methods.

In this internship you will have the opportunity to develop your own research questions and hypotheses, design and conduct trials, and gain hands-on experience in field, tunnel, and lab experiments.
