Joining our Market Access & Compliance team, the senior role of the Regulatory Affairs Specialist, we are looking to fill, assumes a vital and dynamic position within our organization. The primary mandate is to ensure strict adherence to regulatory structures governing the trade of our vegetable seeds across diverse global markets, thereby facilitating seamless product delivery. This involves actively monitoring and interpreting the dynamic legal environments and import specifications, guaranteeing their seamless incorporation into our operational frameworks. By actively collaborating with internal stakeholders and external bodies, such as industry associations and government agencies, you will be instrumental in promoting a culture of compliance excellence.
Key responsibilities are:
- Evaluating regulatory changes, policy analysis and preparing reactions to draft regulations to be used for lobbying.
- Setting up and sustaining internal communication channels to disseminate regulatory updates.
- Active participation in strategic initiatives and provision of expert guidance to multifunctional teams contributing to strategic and tactic actions to ensure license to operate.
- Cultivation of an extensive international network within the seed domain and collaboration with external authorities to navigate regulatory complexities.

Job Requirements
To thrive in this role as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A distinguished Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as Plant Sciences, International Law or Food Safety (with relevant specialization, such as Food Law and Regulatory Affairs).
- A minimum 3-5 year experience in a Regulatory Affairs role in food, life science or plant protection.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a strong analytical acumen.
- Proficiency in communication, with a demonstrated ability to lead project groups and to effectively engage others.
- Fluency in English and preferably Dutch, proficiency in Spanish is considered advantageous.
